One time Admission Fee: Rs. 1400/-

Half-Yearly Renewal: Rs. 2050/-

The renewal periods:April through September period and October through March period. 

A new member who is being sworn in at the beginning of a term (i.e the scheduled swearing in ceremony falls on the moths of April/October)  shall pay a total of 1400 + 2050 = Rs. 3450/-.For each month elapsed from the start of the renewal period,the member can deduct Rs.300/- per each elasped month.

For instance if the swearing in ceremony is in February,4 months would have elapsed from the start of a renewal period.Hence 4*300 = 1200, can be deducted from Rs. 2050.Hence, the joining fee = 1400 +(2050-1200) =  2250/-

The same fees structure applies for reinstated membership(after a break in membership) ,dual membership and club transfer.However these group do no have to pay the one time admission fee of Rs 1400/-

Procedure to become a member:

  • Anyone who wants to become a member should attend at least two meetings of the Bangalore Toastmasters Club as a guest to acquaint himself/herself with the Club.
  • On deciding to be a member, he/she should duly fillup the new member form and hand it over to the VP membership. For reinstated membership,dual membership and club transfer the filled in forms needs to be handed over to the treasurer (Tony Simon)
  • There will be a voting in ceremony which seeks the existing members approval.
  • If the approval is obtained,a swearing in ceremony shall follow .
  • The duly filled application form will be collected by the VP Membership(Jindow Joseph) and it will be done only on the day scheduled  for voting in/swearing in ceremony.The next voting in/swearing in ceremony is scheduled on 26th of February,2010. Ideally every month on such ceremony shall be conducted.
  • Confirm your participation via email to vpmbtmc@yahoo.in  at least one day prior to the scheduled ceremony.Also, in the email provide your place of residence and a choice of mentor if any.Also if you want a mentor from any particular location kindly mention.
  • Members coming for the voting in/swearing in ceremony shall be dressed formally.
  • Ensure that your read the FAQ and Benefits.Ensure one is clear of the same.
  • The fees details are mentioned in the right side of this page in subscription details.Fill  the right amount in the application and provide the same amount in cash or cheque on the same day.
  • Ensure that one has spoken with the VP Education (Pawas Chandra) to be crystal clear about his/her educational goals to be pursued in Toastmasters club.
  • On failing to meet any of the above conditions one will not be allowed for voted in/sworn in .
  • It shall remain the prerogative of the VP Membership to cancel the scheduled voting in/swearing in ceremony without any prior notice.
  • VP membership in consultation with VP-Education will arrange a mentor for the new entrant .
  • Installation confirms membership to Bangalore Toastmasters Club and to the club egroup.
  • There is no registration or fees for guests.One just need to walk in.
  • In urgent cases, you can call the VP Membership at 9448833816 ideally after 8pm on weekdays and after 11 am on Saturdays and Sundays.In cases of extreme urgency you may opt to call on Fridays as well after 11 am.
